I was invited to visit the north of Spain, the birthplace of a childhood friend of mine last summer. While we stayed mostly in the coastal city of Donostia-San Sebastian, we spent a day in Oiartzun, a small town further inland. The area itself was insanely beautiful. We were greeted with beautiful fields and mountain ranges, creeks filled with wildlife and one singular wooden house placed atop a hill. This house belonged to my friend's aunt and uncle.
