The Cabin at Lac Gilberte
This cabin, built sometime in the 1940's, is on a remote lake in northern Quebec called Lac Gilberte. Our guide took us there, it was 40km down a logging trail from our cabin (which was itself 60km down the trail), and we fished our limit of Blue Walleye. While the fish was delicious and the day was beautiful, this cabin and all of the carvings on the wall from previous travelers recording their catch were the real highlight.
