While i was spendind time in Kerala last winter, I had the chance to be included in the annual village celebration. It was a religious ceremony. It lasted for on day and one night and what amazed me is it was at the same time very spiritual and a very wild party (where all the villager would loose control by the end of it). What interest me in this picture is that you can feel the two side of it: the first girl is very deep in her thoughts, focused on her faith and prayers while her friend on the back is already full of excitement with the party in front of her.
