The followers of Baba Loknath from the The Hindu Community of Bangladesh observe Rakher Upobash every year. They gather at different branches of Shri Shri Lokenath Brahmachari Ashram for the Kartik Brata or Rakher Upobash religious festival. Lighting small lamps and special incense, Hindu worshipers fast and pray in earnest to the gods for favors during this ritual.
