the building of this church was built in 1982 AD in zeytoon neighborhood of majidiyeh district in tehran ,iran and was christed by the late reverend archbishop ardak manookian in january 14 th 1982 AD.one of the specific features of this church is that it has higher dome than other churches of armenian iranians.the land,over which this church was built, was purchased through benevolent financial helps of this neighborhood's residents.the expenses of its construction were paid by a benevolent couple named (mr.gregor)and (mrs.hrachouhi melikian)in memoriam of (megerdoom) and (zaghik melikian)parents of mr gregor.the expenses of other buildings in this compound were paid by the armenians caliphiate council(ACC).
