The Cicada Slide

A 17 Year Brood II Cicada rests on a piece of meadow grass. These Cicadas emerge after 17 years underground by the millions, mate, and die in the span of about 6 weeks. Their eggs hatch and new cicada nymphs dig back underneath the earth, and the cycle continues for another 17 years.
