The coffin-breaking dance
The coffin-breaking dance (also known as the coffin-breaking) is a cultural custom with the typical identity of the Southern region, Viet Nam. The coffin dance, according to the local people's concept, the actor on the particular costume of ancient opera will hole the burning logs to dance around the coffin, the purpose is to keep the soul of the deceased on the way to the golden stream from being possessed by the devil.
