The crossing of the Humpback whale

Between July and November the humpback whales ( Megaptera novaeangliae ) these giant cetaceans come from the polar regions looking for warm waters to mate and give birth. In Nuquí , Colombia , called the nursery of whales ; these whales are born after their children are taught everything you need for the journey back to the poles. Mothers teach their children to breathe , swim , dive and jump in the water. The population of this area take good care of these animals considered sacred in its waters.
