12th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
The Crow and the Cedar Tree.
I heard the call previously and have waited for the Crow to leave his perch on a branch in the Cedar Tree. He flies silently although I know he has seen me. The bird is shiny and black and the light reflects of his feathers.
