The Crystal Clear Waters of Blue Spring in Missouri's Mark Twain National Forest

Blue Spring in the Mark Twain National Forest pumps roughly 80 million gallons of water per day into the Current River. The spring is over 300 feet deep - almost enough to submerge the entire Statue of Liberty. With waters as pure blue as the sky, the spring was named “Spring of the Summer Skies,” by the local Native Americans.
