Inside the heart of the Atlantic rainforest in Brazil a group of Blue Manikins prepare to dance for the female which is to the right of the photo and a camouflaged dull green. When she gives the sign they continuously jump over one another presenting themselves to the female in a unique and melodic dance which over a space of 4 minutes continuoes into a high speed frenzy of mesmerizing colour. The finale is that each male at the very end presents his final presentation with a high pitched whistle and the female then makes her choice of the greatest dancer. Truly one of the great wonders of the natural world.
