Durga Puja is also called Durgotsava is an annual Hindu festival originating in the Indian subcontinent which reveres and pays homage to the Hindu goddess, Durga. In the lineage, the potters of Bengal made idols of gods and goddesses. The tireless work started a few months before Durga Puja. From clay collection to decoration for the idol, every work is done according to the custom. Artists spell the idol of the goddess with many different elements. This material is used with respect to femininity.
