During our Death Valley trip, I was driving back to Stovepipe Wells with my girlfriend after a full day of hiking that ended with the Mosaic Canyon hike, leaving us wiped out. On our drive down the gravel road leaving the canyon, I abruptly stopped the car, grabbed my camera, and leaned out of the open window to try to capture this stunning vista basking in the golden-hour glow.
