The desolate lake bed of Lake Thomas A Edison in Sierra National Forest

Located near Vermilion Valley Resort, Lake Edison is now only at 6% its normal water capacity. We walked a mile through the desolate lake bed to reach what little water is left. This beautiful lake's demise has affected tourism at the Resort and is a sad sight to see for the backpackers that come through this area.
