The Devil's Golf Course
This landscape in Death Valley National Park is one of the lowest points on our planet's surface. Although it resembles a scene from a science fiction movie, this location is very real. When I had the opportunity to visit there in April 2022, mid-day temperatures were already exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit (37.7 Celsius). More recently, this area experienced torrential rain and flooding, the effect of which on this landscape is uncertain.
