The Diverging Tracks

These railroad tracks lead into the original Conoco oil refinery in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Trains arrive carrying tankers of crude oil for refining, as well as transporting the refined products throughout the country. E.W. Marland was the founder of the Continental Oil Company and established its headquarters here in the early 1920s.
