The Eagle Named Roosevelt
Many bald eagles make a temporary home in Canada over winter. I photographed this eagle at the Alberta Birds of Prey Centre, where injured birds are rehabilitated and released. With such an astonishing visage, it is no wonder that the bald eagle is such a stirring symbol of courage and strength.
