The Eglise Saint-Martial cathedral at dusk

In September 2018, I traveled to the medieval book town of Montmorillon, France, to view a home I am purchasing there - a 200 year old home that sits on the church square overlooking the Eglise Saint-Martial Cathedral. The evening before I was to view the home, I walked across the bridge to the medieval quarter of the town and took this shot - the cathedral is built of sandstone, which illuminates in the evening sun. This image confirmed for me the magic and ethereal beauty of this town felt lost in time.
