The End of the Drought
Utah experienced one of the worst droughts ever which caused citizens to participate in water restrictions. Finally, in August 2021 a huge thunderstorm hit Delta, Utah. After the skies put on a phenomenal lightning show, it poured down rain and hail measuring 6 inches in less than 2 days, which is as much as Delta has received in the previous year and a half. Although the community had been hoping and praying for rain, the intensity of the water destroyed farmers' crops and flooded thousands of homes. The earth is beautiful and can also be cruel.
