The End of the Road
A forlorn building situated by an old port, next to a large number of cod drying racks. This building features the deep reds common in northern Norwegian buildings and comes from the small village of Hovden. A remote town above the actic circle at the end of a long winding single track road - Hovden sits on a site that has been populated since around the year 400 (likely earlier). I love the idea of the history of the place, the change, and the hint of the nearby dramatic mountains.
