The enlightened

For years, you walk your eyes through old passages of Bible, Quran, The Vedas, Pali Canon. You visit churches, mosques, synagogues, temples. You search the sky, observe the stars, speak to elders, visit fortune tellers, visit countries, read the lines of your palm. You meditate. You breathe. You change jobs. You leave people. You find another home. And then, in one of your travels, you find someone who takes you within seconds into that world of infinite wonder. How easy was it! What was I looking for all along? We are one, growing under a sky of disagreement, social and cultural differences, trapped in dogmatic thinking but united by hope, by worshiping those invisible beings who may be looking over us. We are one, looking for Gods that were always within. Simple, bare feet, let me walk along you, worshiper of love for life.
