The bridge over the moat and the entrance of Krasiczyn Castle in the southeast Poland, near the Ukrainian border. The castle was erected by the San river between 1580 and 1633 as a fortified stronghold, but later the Voivode of Podolia Marcin Krasicki, who was regarded as one of the most important promoter of arts, turned the fortress into a richly decorated Renaissance building (palazzo in fortezza), under supervision of Italian architect, Galleazzo Appiani. Nowadays is one of the most interesting sightseen of the area, while part of it is used as a luxury hotel.
