We have witnessed the combat between and short toed snake eagle and snakes in past but the combat just lasts for few fraction of seconds and the eagle in all majesty dominates the snake every time and makes an easy meal even before we approach them for pictures, however this particular instance the five foot snake was brave enough to fight back and it took multiple attempts for eagle to conquer the snake. It took almost 6 years of patience and perseverance to execute these images under challenging lighting conditions. At the end of the day nature is unpredictable and we were just mere spectators.
