The expansive view of the eastern range of the Sierra Nevada backpacking along the John Muir Trail
Just before Purple Lake, the trail curved around a small peak and gave us an amazing view of the eastern range of the Sierra Nevada. Far off in the distance you can see high Sierra Meadows where the trail passes through a few miles ahead.
