The Explosion
The Yassai Hossai Fire Festival is held in Osaka, Japan, on December 14 every year at Iwatsuta Shrine. The festival celebrates the god Ebisu and commemorates the time when fishermen burned 108 bundles of firewood to keep Ebisu warm after he washed ashore. The most impressive scene of the festival is when men wearing white clothing run through fire cheering "Yassai Hossai."
