This Sri Lankan, endemic rain-forest lizard was very calm when we approached him, which made me think maybe it would let me get close to it with a lens. He didn't seem bothered by my entering his space for a few moments, but we realised later there was a female near by and thought maybe he was too focused on to get distracted. I kept the shot low, as I liked how the light was coming through the canopy tops, almost like stars, and make him pop out from his green environment.
