I am travelling around the country, performing with the 2nd National Tour of Once. We actually performed in the Fox Theatre in Detroit, earlier this year. It was quite eerie, walking into an exact double of a theatre in a different part of the country. I love these theatres though. The opulence, grandeur, and beauty of the buildings speak of another time to me - a time when the arts were vaulued by everyone, and going to the theatre was a grand occasion. Seriously though, you should read about these theatres; their history is fascinating!
