On our last day in the canyons of Havasupai, we trekked to Havasu Falls 2 miles from our designated campsite. Hoping the milkway would cut above the skies above the falls, I attempted some long exposures with light painting. I wanted to show the scale, so I had my friend stand below with a light source. As she was getting completely soaked, I managed to capture this beautiful sight.
