The Far Shore

I visited one of my favorite river towns, Parkville, Mo., and was treated to a gorgeous, mystic scene. The Missouri River that nestles the south side of Parkville was covered by dense fog. With the help (and patience : ) of my good friend, I snapped a few shots. There was a moment that I thought I heard a barge on the river, completely invisible to me, phantom-like. It had an eery feel. The fog was so dense that the trees lining the far shore looked like they were floating.
