The Ferris Wheel Along the Lachine Canal
Build to avoid the dangerous Lachine Rapids, the canal turning Montreal into a major port. Many industries flourished on its banks. Today it is a park and many condos are being built along its shores. Leisure took the place of the activities generated by the now closed factories.
