The first iceberg
Setting sail from Argentina across the Drake Passage, we took bets on when we'd see the first iceberg. Of course the bridge spotted it a good hour before any of us newbie tourists. It turned out to be the first calm seas we hit as well. Almost 3/4 of the passengers were sea sick and only got to see it as we ambled by because they were finally able to walk well enough to go in search of some dry white toast. The scene was surreal, watching something so serene breathe life back into so many people.
