I was volunteering on a project with Hartlepool United Football Club and a local Gallery called Christchurch also in Hartlepool. The idea was to capture some street photography of the Pools football fans outside the ground, waiting for the match to start. I love the image in particular the look on the young child's face in particular his impatience to watch the game as what looks like grandmother drinks a pint of lager. I think the image is very gritty, the shadows to the right of the child could symbolise a stairway to heaven to show a way out for the child.
