The French legacy

The photo was captured in Pondicherry, a French colonial settlement in India until 1954, is now a Union Territory town bounded by the southeastern Tamil Nadu state. Its French legacy is preserved in its French Quarter, with tree-lined streets, mustard-colored colonial villas and chic boutiques. The mustard-colored villa with the trees having mustard colored flowers and a cycle rickshaw standing in front with its mustard colored hood were complementing each other. The national flag of Franch painted on the body of the rickshaw enhanced the flavor of the French colony.
