On a foggy, rainy afternoon a brown bear finds the only patch of unsubmerged sand to take a short nap just a stone’s throw from a vigilant bald eagle. Both were hoping for some salmon at low tide but the fish never showed up. Despite their disappointment they both appear quite healthy. On a day when nothing else seems to be going on, there’s always time for a good rest.
