The Great Spirit
The moment I locked eyes with this elk, I had a feeling. It is hard to describe. But the closest word I can think of if "trust." He saw me and I saw him. Just like that, he felt comfortable enough to lead the path on the rocks in front of me. To me, in that moment, I felt his spirit and he felt mine. All I felt was the great spirit of nature itself.
