During a trip that I made with my friend to the city of Oxapampa, we met very friendly locals. The characteristic of Oxapampa is that its settlers came from various parts of Austria or Germany looking for a place to settle in Peru. They came to Oxapampa for having a good climate and being very similar to their place of origin. This portrait shows a typical Oxapampa woman wrapped in the characteristic environment of the place.
