13th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Travel
The halls are haunted
On a trip to New York this summer my girlfriend and I visited the New York Public Library. I was enamored with the architecture of the building and the history. The lone person silhouetted in the hall seemed to tie right in with that feeling of the building being haunted by its past.
