The Happy Children
Waziristan is home to thousands of Afghan refugee families over the past two decades. I took this photograph in my tribal village of Doag, Wana South Waziristan, near the Afghan border It was in the afternoon when I came across a bunch of refugee children playing. They had built tents out of old cloth and worn out scarves supported by sticks. In one of their tents a young bride was adorned and ready to be married off.
