My husband and I were exploring the oceans, jungles, and caves of Belize during our honeymoon. On the way to our next adventure, we briefly stopped at the Belize Zoo for a chance to get personal with the country's most exotic wildlife. As soon as my husband laid eyes on the magnificent harpy eagle, he shouted: "Buckbeak! I found Buckbeak!" The harpy eagle and J.K. Rowling's breathtaking hippogriff seem to share a lot in common! I fell in love.
