I spent much of my time on the Winter Migration following the herd. We had traveled for a few days and I was ready to get ahead of the pack as we traversed the Altai Mountains. There were hundreds of animals moving as one incredible unit with the guiding work of the herdsmen. Here, one of them always guided the camels and brought of the back of the pack. He was the one responsible for movng forward any lingering animals.
