The Heron's Lucky Catch
While in the busy city of Lima, Peru, I came across a small pond with a myriad of fish. To my surprise, a black-crowned night-heron was striding through the water, carefully observing the water for an easy fish to catch. It was able to catch a large tilapia. Despite the developed urban environment of Lima, animals are able to adapt to the changing and disappearing natural world.
