The Holy Bath
Gajan is one of the most popular festivals among Hindus in West Bengal, India, where disciples of Lord Shiva go through different physical hardship in order to please Lord Shiva viz. needle piercing, jumping into weapons etc. Before proceeding to such activities they take sacred bath at night before the main event and are assumed to be converted to "Sannyasi"s for entering into such performance as stated above. On my visit to a village of West Bengal, India, to witness the event, the bathing moment of "Sannyasi"s forming a nice 'S' curve attracted me to freeze the happening.
