The infinite journey

One of the inevitable part of fashion technology is the use of mannequins. As I belong to kolkata, India, I got the opportunity to take some pictures of the place where they are manufactured. Their origin is from some narrow alleys of North Kolkata, in the form of different body parts. They are presented to us wrapped in gorgeous dresses. They are the main attraction of the great lucrative looks of shopping centres. But they start their journey from very filthy, unhygienic places. Their destiny awaits there too. I got the opportunity to click the picture of an old lady, peeping through the door. This symbolizes the ultimate fate of these beautifully dressed mannequins. It makes me think that our life is no different from a mannequin's .
