The Pine Trees Island in the middle of Derryclare lake in magnificent Connemara National Park. How wonderful it is to wake up in place like this one. It definitely makes up for discomfort of cold, short, almost sleepless night in the tent. I was trying to photograph this place for years but failed many times. This time fortune was on my side. Lack of the wind and dramatic morning sky. What else you can ask for. Even the midges were less vicious than usually.
