The Journey to Loch Vale
The journey to Loch Vale is amazing, but it is special in the winter. Instead of doing the normal switch backs, a winter trail cuts right through the middle of a gulch with rocks that line the side. This was right after coming up the ridge and to the point of entry for Loch Vale, one of my favorite places in the world.
