He sat quietly under a palm hut, his presence grounded and serene. Before taking this portrait, we talked — or rather, we tried to, exchanging gestures, smiles, and fragments of words. In his eyes, I saw both gentleness and endurance, the story of a people living humbly within nature, yet often forgotten by the modern world.
