It's not often anyone is lucky enough to get a shot of a lion taken at his head level. On safari in the Serengeti I was lucky enough to get this shot. Our guide got us right along side this male lion basking in the mid day sun, from the side of the jeep I lowered my camera as far down as I hoped it was safe to do and started shooting. It was only when I returned home and put my files into the computer that I realised how lucky I'd been.
