I met three couples (two in the photograph) from Michigan at a bar in San Juan. From a distance they seemed like they were having a blast. I walked towards them and asked if I could join their party. They welcomed me fully and within minutes it felt like I had been a part of their crew for a long time. As a fellow big ten rival alum, we had friendly banter over college athletics. It was their willingness to allow me to join their crew allowed to capture this intimate moment of one of the couples.
