The Last Salute
A damselfly got caught in sundew, which is a predator plant. Sundew has got tentacles with mucilage which resembles dew but is in fact very sticky, making it almost impossible for any caught insect to escape. I got very close and captured this damselfly while it seemed to make a last salute to me. In fact, it was of course trying to shake of the mucilage, which the sun was producing some nice reflections in.
