The last-surviving Johny Appleseed's apple tree
"Johnny Appleseed" (real name John Chapman) is well known in America as "Johnny Appleseed" who traversed the forests and prairies of Midwest, strategically planting apple nurseries for up-coming settlers from the East. His last-surviving tree outside of Savannah in Ashland Co., OH, which was planted in 1837, still bears fruits for Barbara Morgan and her family.
